Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pi Converter ("pifiatconvert.com", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website and Pi-to-fiat conversion tool. By using the site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Information we collect
Converter inputs. The amounts and currencies you enter in the converter are processed in your browser to show a result. They are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us.
Preferences. Your selected base value and currency are saved locally on your device (browser storage) so the converter remembers them on your next visit. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
Article likes. When you tap the like button on a blog article, we record the like against the article so the public like count can be shown. No personal profile is created.
Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to reply and to resolve your request.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
We use browser storage to remember your converter preferences. Third-party advertising and content providers may also set cookies or use similar technologies when their scripts are loaded — most importantly Google, as described below.
3. Google AdSense and advertising cookies
We display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices. You can learn more about how Google uses data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
4. Third-party services we rely on
To provide live rates we request price data from public cryptocurrency exchange APIs (such as OKX, Gate.io, CoinGecko and MEXC) and fiat currency rate providers. These requests contain no personal information. The site is hosted on infrastructure providers (including Vercel) and our content is managed through a Strapi content-management backend hosted by a third party. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
5. How we use information
- To provide and improve the converter and articles
- To remember your converter preferences
- To respond to messages and correction requests
- To display advertising and understand aggregate traffic
- To keep the service secure and functioning
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK under GDPR and California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we collect very little data, most requests can be resolved quickly — email us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised.
